Our pricing is figured by the square inch. To determine how many square inches your quilt is, measure the length and the width, then multiply the length and the width together. This total is your square inches. Please note: pricing is an estimate only. Your actual cost may vary once your quilt is received in the studio. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Preparing your top for quilting:
Please insure your top is clean and does not contain any pet hair or strong fragrances. (Starches are okay).
If your quilt is directional, please clearly mark the top of the quilt with an indicator.
Do not pin or baste your layers together.
Do not embellish your top with sequins, buttons, crystals, etc.
Clip and remove all loose thread from the top and back of the pieced top.
If you do not have outer borders, please sew a basting stitch around the perimeter of the top to insure none of your seams come undone at the edges.
Please inspect your top to insure all seams are sewn securely. Missed seams can catch on the quilting foot and cause problems when quilting.
PRESS, PRESS, PRESS those seams flat.
Backing fabric needs to be 6-8 inches larger than your top. If the back is seamed together, please remove the selvedges from the seam (You may leave selvedges on the outside). Please press seams on backing open.
Borders should lay flat. Wavy borders can cause puckering and tucks on the quilt top. I can not guarantee your quilt to be square if your borders are wavy.
We do not require a deposit for quilting, however all backing, batting and binding fabrics must be paid for in advance. Quilts that are shipped will have shipping costs added on to the balance. The balance must be paid before the quilt will be shipped. Balances paid by check will be required to clear the bank before your quilt will be released to you. Checks must contain name and address preprinted. Temporary checks will not be accepted.
Quilts are quilted in the order in which they are received. We offer a rush fee for an additional $50.00
Typical turnaround is 8-10 weeks. March-May and October-December are my busiest times, and turnaround times occasionally stretch 12-14 weeks during those times. Please plan accordingly when thinking of graduation and holiday gifts.
